मेरे मन की कहा चलती?

मेरे मन की चलती तो ख़ाली सड़कों पर हम चलते और मेरे हाथ में तुम्हारे हाथ होते,
पर मेरे मन की कहा चलती, मैं अकेला तुम अकेली और ये भीड़ वाली सड़क होती है।

मेरे मन की चलती तो तुम खुली आसमान के नीचे मेरे कंधे पे सर रखती और हम तारे धुँड़ते,
पर मेरे मन की कहा चलती, गिनते तो हम सड़क के किनारे खली जगह ही है।

मेरे मन की चलती तो तुम मेरे सिने पे अपने उँगलीयो से अपना दिल बनाती,
पर मेरे मन की कहा चलती, यहाँ हम बनाते तो सिर्फ़ ख़याल ही है।

मेरे मन की चलती तो तुम मेरे पास होती,
पर मेरे मन की कहा चलती, चलती तो समय की है, क्यों की समय ही बलवान है।

Myopia

1…2…3…4…6…7 no 6 ships and the one with mild light may not be a ship, it could be a fisherman’s boat, not visible to my naked eyes and I didn’t bring my lenses…huh myopia (short-sightedness) that too for one eye… and the other also loosing power day by day…. Zzapakh…splashh…shhhhhh… oouw so big is this wave. That day the waves were restless and colliding to the shore as if they fight with the shore, as if they were reading my mind and created the same pattern… I was so disturbed searching for a support like the waves searching something on the ground.

Excuse me!! I looked up… hmmm a tall and handsome guy, wide soldier, curly hair and a dimple that’s giving his face an added advantage…great looks I thought… and he continued with same smiling invitation: you look disturbed don’t you?
Me: I don’t talk to strangers.
He sat down on the sand keeping a distance to me not far but not so close.
Stranger; well everybody comes as a stranger to this world, and then the whole world is a strange place to him, acquaintances; yes acquaintance makes him closer to his parents and his neighborhood isn’t it? He continued…I thought I will give some company to you on this half deserted beach and may be extend my ears to your problems… and you know for women it’s always better to share the bad feelings, that’s the way they feel light and relaxed.

I thought hmmm this guy talks impressive too… trying to impress me huh… but I am not in a mood to talk…

By the way I am Kiran and you?? Madhuri…. Slipped spontaneously from my mouth
Me: I am married (I said to distract him)
Kiran: Oh I got it; it was an arranged marriage right and you don’t like the guy, that’s why I don’t like arranged marriages; it’s just a wild card in your hand.
Me: No ours is a love marriage but he is changed now…
Kiran: that’s good
Me (with an angry note): Come again!
Kiran: You talking to me that’s good… so is that a big fighting you are coming through, what happened exactly?

I thought may be I get some relax…
Me: Things are changed after marriage… he is changed… he thinks whatever he thinks is right and what he does is right… he does not care about and does not give a damn respect for my opinion. I am not saying I am always right but I have an opinion and that should also be taken care of. I feel he doesn’t love me anymore…nobody loves me anymore… I feel deserted…and I am almost crying…
He kept silent for some time and then asked - What was it?
Me: What?
Kiran: The thing that you were dissatisfied with?
Me: It’s about investing our money…I don’t wanna talk about it.

Kiran: Hmmmm OK let me ask you something… did you put your opinion in the correct way that he should understand. It’s always different dynamics that men and women follow to communicate. Say a man does communicate in a straight forward pattern and wants to hear in a direct format. It’s how their brain is designed… they simply don’t understand the complex emotional patterns women can understand and communicate. On the contrary women involve too much of emotions in her communication and for her the topic is not as relevant as her emotions. The guy gets confused and finally both get hurt.
I was listening to him and he continued… say for an example after listening to his investment plan which could have been just an idea… instead of you telling directly that you want certain changes to the plan or something where you also have interest to invest you would have charged him like – do you give a damn about my opinions and you have decided by yourself… I am nothing for you… you don’t care about me…you don’t love me…etc.etc.
and probably the guy would have no idea about your suggestion and in the reaction should have told something to protect him from your charges…like he would have said – what I do is for you and I don’t understand what is bugging you… may be I made a mistake marring you… and the whole atmosphere would have disturbed….
He asked … is this kind of story happened

I kept silent … I was thinking he may be right I didn’t put things correctly… and never gave him a chance to come again...
Kiran: You know all men are fool they don’t understand the women properly. Before marriage they do a lot of things to impress her and after marriage they take her as granted and always think she is with him, and they forget to take that special care for her…so stupid fellows

There was a brief silence then… he was looking to the sky and me to the seventh light in the horizon. I was thinking should I ask my husband sorry and talk to him again… I know he loves me a lot and he can’t be angry on me for long time.

Then suddenly the silence was broken with his words – Here it is... you would be missing these… he came closer to me and handed over something…it was my specs…. Thanks… with a smile I looked at him and put on my lenses… I can now see the 7th ship too it’s so clear. He stood up and gave a hand to me and asked - shall we go home now?I nodded my head … and the waves saw us going to our seaside apartment in Kottivakam hand in hand.
